Meet the team:

Shilpa Singh   

Shilpa is a Certified Life Coach and also has 29 years of experience as an HR professional, dealing with professionals from various industries. With a PGDIM from the International Management Institute (1996) and a Masters of Psychology degree from the University of Phoenix, along with her coaching experience, she is able to provide the right perspective to professionals on improving communication skills and winning work place relationships. Her ability to understand client needs, create bespoke interventions and connect with varied audiences sets her apart.

Shilpa’s last full time human resource work was in a national level law firm with offices in 8 cities in India and a strength of close to 200 lawyers and 150 support staff.  At her assignment she was responsible for day-to-day HR functions and also for setting up the recruitment and induction practice.  In her role as the head of HR, she has extensive experience in hiring and counseling lawyers with work experience ranging from zero years to 10 + years.  She was able to gain great insight into what the needs of legal professionals are in a law firm environment, and what the gaps lay between the formal education process and employment.  This was able to give her the right knowledge about the challenges faced on a day to day basis in our workplaces, especially in organizations with independent thinking professionals. She was responsible for building firm wide policies and guidelines, building recruitment processes, exit processes, remuneration guidelines, performance appraisal system ( creation, review and implementation). Her role allowed her to set up systems and processes across the firm.

As an independent consultant she has been in similar roles for a variety companies in sectors ranging from startups, clinical research outsourcing, legal services, automotive, financial services, ITES, consulting and more.

Her training expertise lies in identifying concern areas and creating programs for clients which address specific issues, build consensus and find solutions.  She has worked with a wide audience, from corporate executives to young adults and children.

She has worked as an independent trainer, providing coaching principals based training to students at Delhi University’s Miranda House College, Ramanujan College, Acharya Narender Dev College ,Lady Shriram College for Women, Deen Dayal Upadhaya College and Shaheed Sukhdev Singh College of Business Studies,Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College for Women. The training was geared towards providing students with the right tools for improved communication, life and employment skills. Her training workshops at Amity Law School, focused on Interview skills for the legal industry were extremely well attended and reviewed.

Her coaching experience has been varied, ranging from working with professionals in middle to top management roles, to helping entrepreneurs explore growth for both themselves and their businesses. She not only works with people who are high achievers, who are exploring new and exciting career and life avenues, but also  students, imparting both traditional classroom learning for communication and also working on group coaching and individual situations. 

She has worked extensively with students at the school level, interacting with children from Grades 3- 8. She spearheaded the OSU Bol program at One Step Up Education, working with students in India’s premier schools to build employability skills from the school level up.

 The program was conceptualized and designed by her and focused on helping students develop and augment skills in communication, leadership and team work. Through a highly interactive process, through which she is able to work with students on individual needs, build curiosity, independent thinking abilities and help bolster self-esteem. Through OSU, she had also worked with schools across the country on career programs that help students  and parents make informed choices for the future.

In the education space, she has also been responsible for conceptualizing and delivering Teacher Training programs. In these programs, the meeting of the corporate world with regards to systems and processes came together with helping schools understand the importance to team work, systems, communication and change management.

Her ability to work with a variety of age groups, seniority levels helps her build highly relatable workshops. Humour, engagement and learning are the hallmarks of any session and she firmly believes in building strong learning environments. With a unique view of the entire pipeline – from education to hiring – she is able to put her finger on the key issues that not only students face but what corporates will have coming their way in the near future. Most importantly, she is able to build programs that will be able to help thrive through those challenges.

Shivani Shorewala

Shivani  is an experienced Corporate Trainer, a Breakthrough & Boundary Coach, certified from the American Board of NLP (ABNLP), a Masters in International Business from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( 1999) with industry experience of over 20 years.

As a professional experienced in Business Communication, Learning and Development, Soft Skills, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Development; she has  been successful in building relationships and getting optimal performance from the team as well as individuals for optimal business results.

She has  experience as a business developer and trainer who has worked with companies like WNS, UEI Global, Frankfinn, and Mindedutainment to name a few.

With her knowledge and experiences, she helps organizations by training the management and the employees in their professional and personal lives by creating BREAKTHROUGHS.

Her training sessions  takes cognizance of all other related roles the employee plays so that there is harmony and balance in his/her life. A balanced employee adds maximum value to a caring and empathetic organization.

Using the latest advances in training, coaching and behavioural sciences, she creates and customises training programs for maximum impact.
